See the complete picture.
Organize retirement income, taxes, investments, real estate, insurance, beneficiaries, and legacy priorities around the life the plan must support.
About Family Retirement Services
FRS was built to make the connected questions visible, put tax-aware planning first, and help families move forward with a clearer financial path.
We begin with your life, scan for potential pressure points, and coordinate the people and decisions around you.
The FRS difference
Most people do not need another disconnected investment, insurance, property, or estate conversation. They need someone to see how the decisions affect one another.
FRS uses a preliminary TaxScan planning process to identify potential tax pressure points, frame the right questions, and coordinate financial actions with the independent tax and legal professionals you choose.
That integrated approach grew from the firm’s long-standing focus on retirement planning, investment management, tax strategy coordination, 1031 exchanges, and legacy planning—brought together in one clearer planning relationship.
How we work
The process begins with your needs, concerns, and long-term goals. It continues with a monitored plan built around the decisions that matter—not a preselected product.
Organize retirement income, taxes, investments, real estate, insurance, beneficiaries, and legacy priorities around the life the plan must support.
Frame the tax, income, liquidity, concentration, survivor, and timing questions that may otherwise stay hidden between separate professional conversations.
Help connect approved financial actions with the independent tax, legal, Social Security, Medicare, property, and insurance professionals involved.

Planning that starts with people
For Terry, planning is personal. As a husband, father, and U.S. Air Force veteran, he understands that financial decisions are ultimately about the people and possibilities you want to protect.
That perspective shapes the way FRS serves clients nationwide: listen first, make the tradeoffs visible, and build a plan that reflects the life behind the numbers.

A focused first conversation
You do not need to organize every account or know the solution before speaking with FRS. The first conversation is designed to understand the issue, the people affected, the timing, and what information may be needed next.
FRS provides financial planning and coordination. Tax, legal, Social Security, and Medicare questions are reviewed with the appropriate independent professionals and government agencies.
