SMS Terms and Conditions
These terms govern text messages sent by Family Retirement Services.
Program description
Family Retirement Services may send text messages to people who have expressly opted in. Depending on the consent you provide, messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, responses to requests, client-service communications, educational resources, seminar or event information, and information about our services.
Voluntary consent
Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. Service-message consent and marketing-message consent are separate choices. Website consent boxes are not selected by default. You may continue to use our website, schedule a conversation, or work with us without agreeing to receive text messages.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on your selections, requests, appointments, and interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan. Your wireless carrier may impose additional charges.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from text messages sent from that number. You may receive one final confirmation message. Reply HELP for assistance, call 833-842-7778, or call our local office at 561-867-8332. After opting out, you may opt in again through our Text Message Consent page or by following instructions we provide through another non-text channel.
Supported carriers and delivery
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed. Message availability may vary by carrier and device.
Privacy and mobile information
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers, text-message opt-in data, and consent will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Appropriate use
Text messaging is not a secure channel for sensitive financial, tax, health, or identity information. Do not send Social Security numbers, Medicare numbers, account numbers, passwords, tax documents, health information, or transaction instructions by text. Text messages do not create an advisory, fiduciary, insurance, tax, legal, or client relationship and should not be used for urgent requests or time-sensitive trading instructions.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms by posting a revised version and revision date. Changes apply prospectively. Your continued participation after notice of a material change constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
